jAG Schools

Since summer 2022 the jAG summer/winterschools have been a centrepiece of the jAGs activities.

The goal of the schools is to give young members of the AG an opportunity to get to know the field of astronomy in Germany as well as to meet fellow young scientists and network with their peers. Additionally, job talks offer insight into potential future job environments and as part of the jAG Kolloquium participants are offered a stage to present their own research. The schools are hosted by different institutes in Germany each year.

The next summerschool will take place at the AIP in Potsdam from the 2nd to the 4th of June 2025. Further information and the registration can be found on the meeting website.
